HHB Packed -Organic Walnuts

These unroasted and unsalted organic 'light' walnut kernels are prized for their earthy mild flavour. Containing subtle tannins, 'light' walnut kernels are less bitter than their 'amber' counterparts. Walnuts are an exceptionally nutritious nut and are considered a superfood. They make a crunchy addition to baked goods, muesli, trail mixes and more!

Walnuts are made up of 2 separate halves, and walnut halves are considered 'whole' by any other nut standard.

Walnut kernels are the edible kernel of the fruit from trees in the Juglandaceae family. The walnut kernel consists of two uneven, corrugated lobes, white in colour and covered by a paper thin, light brown skin. No insecticides or pesticides are used during the growing process and no preservatives or additives were used during the processing of the nuts.
